Accessing onboard Midi sounds

Is there a way to access the onboard midi sounds on the 'realtec' soundcard that is built in to my PC when recording/playing back in CbB?

 I currently use VST instruments for my midi sounds but there is a really good 'pad' on my soundcard that I would like to use  as opposed to the TTS1 version.

You can set the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth as your MIDI output, depending on what Driver Mode you're using.

Thanks.  Am using Asio drivers and it has just occurred to me that if I meddle with them  i will have to change them each time I want to toggle between my Focusrite AI and the GS Wavetable synth. Its worth a shot though to see what happens.
