Unable to open audio playback

I open a song and try to play but I keep getting a message that says "Unable to open audio playback device. Device may not support the current project's audio format or may be in use"

Any ideas on this?  Thank-you

Check the sample rate of your project.  Also, use ASIO driver mode (prefered) if you're able.   If using onboard sound (not really recommended), then check that the sample rate of your project matches the settings as configured in Windows sound settings.

Note: With questions like this, a bit more information about your system and audio interface and settings are always useful.
