noynekker Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 What exactly is happening ? I just tried to open some projects from the Platinum era, and they all open fine. Does it crash ? Is there an error message, maybe a plugin you no longer have, have you tried opening holding down the shift key ? I believe you can still download the rollback installer to the May version in the "early access" area . . . but it might be best to try and get some help here, so you can move forward to new versions.
Jonathan Sasor Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 The 2020.05 Rollback installer can be found here, however as I mentioned the other thread, there shouldn't be any compatibility issues with older projects. If you can provide more details on what you're seeing, we can troubleshoot what's going on.
Bill Campbell Posted August 13, 2020 Author Posted August 13, 2020 (edited) Hi, Thanks for the response. In retrospect the problem may be isolated to a particular project. But I'm thinking that failure cascaded to subsequent attempts to load other projects and it appeared to me to be related to all 'Sonar' projects. That project still get to the "Loading UI" and stops. But now other projects seem to be working fine. Good thing too... I really liked the changes to the new Arranger feature and I was bummed about having to give that up!
