Midi track to audio track recording glitch - out of alignment

Hi All,

Having a glitch happening when I take a midi track I've recorded from my Yamaha Montage, solo the midi track.. create a new audio track.. and record the audio to the audio track.  When it's rendering audio it's lined up with the midi track.  When done recording the audio, the audio track starts wherever the cursor was when recording began (there should be a measure of silence because I started the recording early.. but the audio starts immediately.  (See screenshot)

Any insight on this issue?  Thx!
