ceakay
I have been getting delay on my audio clips. For example, audio clips of risers or kicks play off beat because of the delay. I have read things like driver problems, but I am still confused on how to fix it, or if it might be a different problem.
0 Promidi
Can you give us more information? Version of Cakewalk (numerically, don't just say "the latest")? Version and build number of Windows? What driver mode are you using (ASIO is preferred)? What is your buffer size (preferences | Audio | Driver settings) Are you using any linear phase effects (Therefore uses look-ahead)? Can you switch off all effects (FX in the Mix module) to see if the delay disappears?
0 ceakay
I'm on version 2020.05 and I am on Windows 10. I amalso using ASIO. I have read to change buffer speed (something like that), but in the settings, it is grayed out.

That will means that you'll have to change the buffer size using the configuration software that came with your audio interface. How you do that depends on your particular audio interface.
