fret_man
I'm having a difficult time getting clean recording of classical guitar because of the sympathetic vibrations of the open/non-played strings droning on and on. I guess my technique is not refined enough. So I'd like to convert my playing to MIDI (via Melodyne or JAM Origin) and try sample replacement. Which classical/nylon-stringed VSTi instruments include hammer-ons and pull-offs? Thank you! There are a number of excellent nylon guitar VST libraries out there. I'd be surprised if the best of them didn't do hammer ons/offs... Of course, you should evaluate them for yourself. JoeGBradford
Well worth checking out Amplesound Luthier - beautiful sound and it has hammer ons and pull offs - I have only had it a short while so haven't tried them yet but the demo files will give you an idea
fret_man
I just got thru listening to all these as well as 8DIO, which is currently having a sale and it seems to me Amplesound and Orangetree sound the best. Now I have to wait for a sale. Plus, Amplesound has the only Guild acoustic bass instrument I've found, which I'm also interested in. Thanks, everyone!
