SteveC Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Huh... first to reply. Sounds great here! Really well done radio-friendly rock and the mixes are punchy and clean, suits them to a tee.
Starise Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Great mix and talent! Conrats! Testament that Cakewalk ITB has a LOT of potential in the right hands.
bjornpdx Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Listening thru headphones. Vocal is very good. It fits the genre well, as does the guitar. The drums need to stand out more. I wasn't hearing the low end much so I think the bass needs a boost. The other commenters thought the mix was good so I could be wrong about that. Thanks for posting.
garybrun Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Hi Ross. not my genre... but great vocals and well mixed. My personal opinion (we all paint different pictures) but dont be afraid of adding more punch to your drums. Chris Lord Alge would have a field day with your drums. Well done.
PhonoBrainer Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 I listened to "Neighbors" and I liked the vocal performance, the song, the guitar tone, and especially the mix separation! All of those are such high quality, but as mentioned above I'd give the bass g and kick and snare a bit more low end oooooompf. But I hope it doesn't come at the expense of the upper eq of the entire mix, which just sparkles in its clarity. cheers, -Tom 1
Lynn Wilson Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 I like the song and the mix! You have a terrific voice that comes through loud and clear. I hope to hear more from you! 1
