Audio keyboard tracks duplicating on different tracks

I'm somewhat new to cakewalk and DAW recording.  I'm recording keyboard on an audio track.  When I try to record a separate keyboard track it is picking up the first keyboard track during recording as well.  This is probably something simple but I'm not sure how to correct this.  Can someone shine some light on how to fix this?

Random guess: are you using the computer's built-in audio (typically a Realtek chip)? If so, it's possible you might have the recording input set (in the various Windows/Realtek control panels) set to "Stereo Mix" or "What I hear" or words to that effect rather than "Line-in". 

If that's not the case... never mind!
