Lummy Keen Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Dear All, Goodday. I am looking for free Limiter VST with ceiling and threshold feature, i found one - Maxwell Smart but it does not support 64bit windows. Other VSTs come with threshold but not ceiling, anyone could recommend any? Thank you
Lummy Keen Posted May 29, 2020 Author Posted May 29, 2020 Goodday, Just to share what i found. Found this limiter that comes with ceiling and threshold. Measured with loudness meter and the VST did what it supposed to. Thank you 1
Starship Krupa Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 My favorite: http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=Unlimited&id=2843 Also if you follow my instructions for unlocking the 4 hidden plug-ins that come with Cakewalk, one of them is a very good limiter, Boost11: 1

razor7music Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Don't want to sound like a snot, but this post probably belongs in the Instruments & Effects forum. 1
John Vere Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 If you had Sonar and the Blue tube stuff the BT Brickwall is the only limiter I've used for a long time now and it works solid. If I set it to -0.8 all measuring tools will report that that is exactly what I got, The Loudmax is also a great limiter for free, I use that on the output of my Movies in Vegas.
