Bruce Leslie
If I use the stand alone Kontact player, I can assign CC# to faders on several of my controllers (Midimix, nanoKontrol2, Palette). However, when I open Kontact inside Cakewalk, I have not had any success getting any of these controllers to work. I add them as MIDI input devices). I attempted to configure them as control surfaces, but I am ignorant about how to configure the control surface properties. I am able to get the Midimix and nanoKontrol2 to control cakewalk, but not Kontact--or EW Play for that matter. Perhaps I need a better controller, or hopefully just knowledge about how to do it. Anyone do this successfully?

Jim Fogle
Thank you for providing an answer. I'm new to CbB, the nanoKONROL2 and to Kontakt. I keep a notebook of problems and resolutions so your answer will help me and others get Kontakt to work as we desire inside CbB.
