Customizing Mouse Wheel Scroll Settings

Is there a way to customize the how you use the mouse wheel in the track view?  I prefer SHIFT+MouseWheel for left-right scrolling and CTRL+MouseWheel for zoom.  When switching between Melodyne and Cakewalk, the difference in controls gets very confusing.

I know of no way to customize mouse wheel settings. The wheel is not available in the Key Bindings preferences. I don't know of anywhere else it would be besides [Track view] Options > Mouse Wheel Zoom Options, which only offers those aspects of its Fast Zoom functions, no options for choosing the modifier keys.  But it would be nice to be able to customize it !

It's not perfect, but AutoHotkey might be able to swap out the mouse wheel controls.

I was looking for such option as well. I was doing gain staging and was getting a bit pissed tweaking the gain knob. The mouse wheel every scroll jumps for 1.8 db. Moving the mouse while left button pressed changes quite fast as well. Hard to do small tweaks. But if you hold down SHIFT while moving the mouse or scrolling the wheel, the value changes much more gradually.  This works with any other knob as well.

The Russian software “KeyManager” from ATNsoft can do this. It works great for me here
