Forgive me for using the forum term " Are you calling me flat?" on my daughter to get her back for her teen years

Forgive me for my mind in the gutter and laughing at the phrase "you're flat" then realizing they are the only thing I can look down on and really approve of at the same time

I'm not sure but I think that Mary will assume that the apology to her is implied, so you should be okay.
