Skyline_UK
Since the update I have had a major issue with IK's Lurssen Mastering Console. It always ran fine before at 1048 samples. Now it will barely run at 2048 samples, and even then dropouts occur. The project is tiny - 5 MIDI tracks (using SampleTank3), 3 audio tracks, plus a mixdown audio track into which LMC is inserted. I've used thread scheduling model 2 since it was introduced. I've tried switching to 1 and 3 and that makes things much worse. I used to use this plugin quite a lot but now it's become virtually unusable. ? As an experiment, and as it 's a small project , I took the tracks over into Studio One, mixed down to a track and inserted Lurssen and it was fine at 1024, and even 512. Has anyone else struggled with the Lurseen Mastering Console in CW? I've been having odd moments when it seems to me CW is struggling with the whole latency issue and I can't help noticing the number of threads that pop up on this. I'm very reluctantly coming around to the view that CW's performance in this area is not as good as other DAWs and the above straight forward example lends weight to this in my mind. msmcleod
I'm using the Lurssen MC with the latest release and not seeing any issues. My threading model is set to 2, which is the recommended setting for 4 cores or above (I've got a 4 core i5 processor)
