Pop`s and blips freeze tracks maybe?

Hi chaps , Ive been using bandlab for about a year now and I now find myself using more effects compresser`s etc during recording Iand playback I find that now there are more and more blips and pops also the time curser stuttered once is freezing the tracks an option ?and how does that work ? any help would be gratefull cheers PB

Not saying this is your problem, but look at this.

Download and run Latency mon If there is a problem it tells you in no uncertain terms. ?

I had to uninstall KB4551672 to solve the problem. Unfortunately, it also has important fixes, but I haven't noticed anything untoward.
