crash or mistake?

Hi everyone, I'm new to cakewalk and to the forum.

I'm experiencing the following problem: the sound won't go past the now time ruler.

The now time ruler actually stands still and doesn't follow the music.

i thought it was because of an audio file i had imported,at first... but it's doing the same with midi notes.

i have deleted the project but the problem is still there...Any ideas?

If you've got scroll lock on, it'll stop the now time from moving and the clips pane from scrolling.

Unfortunately it's not the scroll lock, I checked it.

Could it be a conflict with 3 rd party plug ins?
