Jerky UI while playing back

I start a new file with the Cakewalk TTS synth as the only track/synth. I believe that is about as lightweight as you can get.

When playing back in CWbBL, the UI jumps in about one second intervals. This means that the time bar jumps every one second, and if I try to pause play the pause will be at the next second. In piano roll everything takes a second. Changing the prog of the synth. Changing the TTS channel happens at the next second. In the Console view, altering a slider will only occur at the next jump, etc. 

Anyone any ideas? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply. Good grief! It worked! I did not even know I HAD that key. AFAICS it's all about gaming. Now that I have it set not to stuff CW about, I am going to gouge out the button (I have a few missing keys on my keyboard).
