Refresh Audio Device?

Sometimes I open up CbB before I turn on my audio interface. So when I I look in my preferences, my AI doens't show. Is there any way to refresh this so that it shows up after I turn on my AI without closing down CbB and reopening it? Never had this problem with other DAWs.

In Preferences\Display, ensure "Show Audio/MIDI Device Change Notifications" is checked.

CbB might need a little more time for it to show the notification.

I guess I'll have to keep a look out for this notification. I've done this more than a few times and never noticed a notification.

Best to just get in the habit of powering things on in the right sequence (ie. necessary hardware first).  It might feel like a PITA in the beginning, but after awhile, you won't even notice.
