If you want only to build chains of plugins in your DAW this other could be an alternative: https://ddmf.eu/metaplugin-chainer-vst-au-rtas-aax-wrapper/ With the added advantage of hosting both 64 and 32 bit plugs (better test before buying). The current price is $50. I got it for $29 in the last DDMF sale. 1
