Yes Morris....you can even do your mix in CbB, then export the stereo mix for Mastering in Mixbus to get that lovely Mixbus sound on your final Master... Edited April 14, 2020 by cclarry 1 1
Morris Band Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 That sounds a bit easier and better. I dont really know my way around mixbus but I do love the sound of their DAW. 1

That is the only thing I do. I use Mixbus32C as a "console". Except I now mostly record in Studio One. Same principal though. 2 1
Morris Band Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 I will for sure master in it on my next release You mentioned using mixbus as a console. Wondering how to do that?

Wondering how to do that? He's saying you would do your recording in CbB, or Studio One, then export the Multitracks and bring them into 32C for the 32C Console sound. Basically as the "Mix Console". The 32C EQ is reknown...as are their consoles in General. That's why High End Studio's like Sony's Movie Production Studios use them! I love the Mixbus sound! It's not for everything...but it IS a beautiful sound! 1 1

Bapu Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 There was a technique that was touted a couple of years ago about using Reaper and routing it to Mixbus and back into Reaper IIRC. I've not used it nor have I ever heard if it could be done with CbB or Studio One for that matter. Bigger brains than mine would need to weigh in on the technique. 1

I wonder if its like a Rewire thing? http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013042/The-Complete-Guide-to-Using-Rewire-Part-1
