Far better than PA? Wasn't megasingle developed by Igor Nembrini as well? Are you talking about amp side or the plugin overall? IMO, PA amps lack in IR department, but are perfectly fine with recording chain section bypassed. I prefer to use ampsims with third party IRs, particularly by Celestion. I suspect that Cali is hardly any better than bx megas if you use your favourite IRs. The real question is - is there any noticeable difference at all?

Yeah, but it is a PA/Brainworx product.

IMO PA amps suck, full stop. (Chandler and Bassdude have some redeeming grace) I gave all mine away.

I don't like Celestion cabs at all, have a heap of them, never use them.

I only use amp sims with 3rd party IR's (Redwirez and Ownhammer) and this new thing here sounded way better than the mega's did, which to me is not saying much, but each to their own, ymmv etc etc
