I have to take issue with his claim that Hans Zimmer made the ostinato popular. That goes back at least to Gustav Host's Mars.

I'm also not a big fan of ostinatos. They are to orchestration what the arpeggiator is to electronic music, a cheap crutch for lazy composers. 

But yeh, I do like this guy's style of presentation. Also be sure to check out everything by Spitfire's Christian Hensen.
