Artefact disconnects "Sound Card"

I use the Roland Quad-Capture A/D converter (discontinued).   After 3 years absence I come back to the 2020.01 release of Bandlabs.  Learning a lot.

Looping a segment, and now shift-space to comp a session, there is a loud pop at the end of the loop and then complete loss of sound.  Hitting space bar caused continued pops, but no sound.  Program meters respond as normal but no sound.

I am using the last released drivers for the Quad Capture.

 

Ideas?

I don't know what is going on but a few things to try are change the buffer size you are using for recording. Also, if things are working normal and you just hit spacebar (not shift-spacebar) does it do the same thing?

No because it doesn't loop.

It will if you set a loop region around the area you are comping.  This is just to try to debug issue.
