CWP missing from hard drive

I saved a cwp I had been working on for months and the next day it was nowhere to be found on my entire HD!  I had saved the cwp to cakewalk projects on my HD. The audio files are still in cakewalk projects but the cwp itself is just gone! What can I do?

Look in all your Cakewalk project folders. I had one get misplaced once but found it in another folder.

how can i restore from backup?  another thing...all of the wav files are in the audio folder. As for you Mr Skinner, I did a HD search which checked the whole of the hd and zilch.
