I'm a beginner, have recorded my first multitrack song and I need some help.
I have a bass track in my composition consisting of multiple clips, since I did a bunch of punch-ins while recording it.
I've been working on mixing and refining the recording for a few days, now, but suddenly one audio clip in the bass track has become INSANELY LOUD. The graphical representation of the waveform in the clip is the same as the adjacent clips, and when I locate and play the wav file for the clip in Windows Explorer, it sounds fine. I can't for the life of me figure out why this one clip is super loud!
