From the Square Enix website:

We’re warmed by stories of communities banding together to support those in need during uncertain times, and by honoring directives intended to protect the most vulnerable among us.

Gamers are part of a global community. We regularly rally together online to return balance to fantasy kingdoms, recruit crew to save the universe from sci-fi threats, and indulge in healthy competition through high-octane action games. For others, shifting to both online work and play is unfamiliar territory.

With this in mind, we’re offering a gift to our community. Starting right now through Monday, March 23 at 11:59PM PDT, we’re releasing both Tomb Raider (2013) and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for free on Steam.

thanks but this is not free on steam, and that link is all russian (i think?) is there an english version of the link please :)

Oh, yes, my fault. Here are  English  links:

https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/watch-dogs/home

https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/the-stanley-parable/home

Btw, epic games gives away some cool games every week. For example,  since March 26 until  April 2 there will be free  Figment and  Tormentor x Punisher   ☺️

Looks like Pete is the CCLarry of gaming.

You should see my Steam library!  Or worse, the GOG Galaxy 2.0 list which includes all the major launchers and Xbox (where I have at least a couple hundred non-GamePass games)!

My wife and I check Epic every few days too, since neither can remember the schedule and there was a period where they did daily freebies too but she got them and I missed a few since it was during NAMM thus difficult to keep on the radar.

For game deals I recommend checking out the GameDeals Reddit: https://old.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/new/

It's surprising how often good games are available for free.

Seconded, that subreddit is in my favorites list.  This is a great resource.  For general gaming deals there are also some subreddits like r/gamebundles and for Xbox-specific deals (I mainly play on PC but have Xbox One X and you can get a lot of great stuff, some free each month if you have Xbox Live Gold as many of you know) r/GreatXboxDeals

There's also a healthy game trading market there but it has its pitfalls like any trading community might even with the safeguards most of the related subreddits post to help users.  Plus it does take a bit of time to build up official rep to make it worthwhile in my opinion.

My solution is to not upgrade my 750ti.   It slows down game purchases.
