ASIO Drivers and no sound

I had Cakewalk (Sonar Studio 2) working using ASIO drivers with a USB Interface/soundcard (Line 6 UX2). Following updates, it stopped working. Under Preferences / Audio / Devices there is nothing showing in the Input/Output Drivers boxes, but only when I select ASIO under Playback and Recording. I tried using WASAPI but it did not play the track properly and there was terrible latency when trying to record.

Incidentally, I’m trying to record audio (guitar, bass, vox etc).

Following specificity which updates?

Tried going to the manufacturer's website for your Line 6 UX2 and manually downloading and installing the latest drivers?

Looks like something's gone wrong with your ASIO drivers.  Temporarily disconnect your interface USB cable, then uninstall/reinstall the latest driver package.  Reboot your PC, then reconnect the interface.  (To a different USB port if available).   Check your ASIO settings to see if the missing I/O issue has been corrected.
