R Some do need to use it and I think what Avid is offering is good. My High School children have to do remote learning for the next 2 weeks as the school closed. So any help getting software the students need is a good thing.
kitekrazy1
It's kinda odd that "work from home" when it's dongled software. Does PT use only the hardware dongle?
synthmeister
This will help a lot of creative types. Strong props to Avid. Thank you.
kitekrazy1
Eligibility: The temporary licenses will only be provided to a user whose company or educational institution owns the same product being requested, and the product is either on an active subscription or under an active upgrade and support contract. A maximum of one license will be provided per one owned and the license will be provided for 90 days.

Does PT use only the hardware dongle? Probably means they will give your iLok account an extra 90 day license that can be activated on a PC instead of a dongle.
