External drives this big aren't going to be speed demons, that's for sure. But neither are they going to be dead ***** slow either. It's target is for those that want BkUp storage space. Larry Shelby Posted February 27, 2020 Author Share Posted February 27, 2020 USB 3 has helped to make drive speed less of an issue also... but typically these are 5400 RPM drives...the ones that have "special" names, or say "gaming" are the 7200 RPM drives...
