John Bohlen Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Back in the day I used it a lot since the Acid libraries were so popular. These days, the stretching engine is way outdated. All the other DAW's use the ElastiquePro engine. The only thing I miss is loading each loop to the project's key automatically.
Matthew Sorrels Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 ACID Pro 9 is very good. They really did fix most of the problems version 8 had. I was happy enough with it I actually took them up on one of the sales for ACID Pro Next. Its additional features turned out to be sort of worthless though. Odd it looks like those features are going to be part of ACID Pro 10 Quote ACID Pro 10 will be released at the end of February 2020. Sneak peek: NEW: STEM MAKER 2 NEW: Morphium Pads NEW: Melodyne essential and many more exciting new features... 1

Starise Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 I wonder what the upgrade price to 10 will be from 9 now? Maybe that will not change. Magix kills me with email in my promotions box....I feel like I just bought 9. I have opened it up maybe 5 times since I bought it. I still plan to use it for some quick backing track work. ACID is a very useful program. They are slowly updating it. Works well for what it does.
