Assign Transport controls and pads of a Axiom25 v2

I have an M-Audio Axiom25 v2 controller.  It is a very programmable controller.

How can I assign the pads to a drum track

while the keys are set to a piano.

And how can I get the transport keys on the controller to work with Cakewalk transport buttons.

Assign pads to different MIDI channel from keys (on the controller).

Use the same input for both tracks, but select particular channel for each track.

Use Generic Surface to learn transport buttons.
