Richard Strickland Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 I keep getting the update window when I open Cakewalk, but every time I click on 'Update' nothing happens. The window just disappears and that's that. Can somebody please help me get this update installed? I'm running the latest version of Windows 10. Thanks.

I can't get Bandlab Assistant to open. I suppose it's a computer problem.
Keni Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 (edited) Yes. Something's going on. May be related to an update problem I'm having on a client’s machine. Things are leading me to suspect a win10 update and possibly something forcing write protect as it fails trying to copy the new files into their folder. But I don’t want to hijack your thread. They may not be related. I have not heard of CbB updating without BA. Except for the early access downloads but they don't come from update notices. Did you check to see if BA is already running? William W. Saunders, Jr. Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Try deleting Bandlab Assistant then reinstalling the latest version if you are having problems with it. That has fixed these issues for me in the past.
