AB99
Well - I guess my title says most of it. Anyone using these latest USB SSDS to record to? Any particular recommendations for brands, etc.?
micv
Once you go SSD you won't go back! Net result is about 3.5 times faster overall. I use Samsung EVO
AB99
I understand. Are you using an external USB SSD? That is what I am zooming in on. Thank you. Edited January 19, 2020 by Alan Bachman
Rico Belled
I've done it many times without any issues. As a matter of fact, these days I oftentimes use USB flash drives! Those really tiny ones, barely bigger than a wireless keyboard/mouse receiver, although I would recommend to use an internal drive for any critical recordings. Light Grenade
Yep, I've been working from a Samsung T5 connected via USB-C for the last year. No issues to report, great drive.
