jesse g Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Please explain why there is a limit on the number of times one can edit their post. I may want to add additional comments or correct a statement made without adding a new post.
2 chuckebaby Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 (edited) This is one thing that has really made the Cakewalk forums Great. When you research a problem.. you don't have to scroll down to try and find the answers. The person who starts the thread would simply edit their post a day later with their results. Updating as more info is learned. Edited December 22, 2018 by chuckebaby
1 Meng Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Found it! It was hidden in group settings. It actually wasn't a number of edits limit, it was a time limit within which you could have poster's regret. This has been changed now. 4
0 Meng Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 I don't know. It's not intentional. Let me figure out later whether it can be changed, I'm sure it can be lifted.

Updating as more info is learned. Hopefully this time without the vanish-o-matic filter. I've had whole threads disappear when editing the original post on the old forum.
