Larry Graham Alexander
Here are a couple of my all-brass ensemble compositions. They feature trumpets, trombones, French horns and one tuba: "The Brass Rules" http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/TheBrassRules.mp3 "The Brasses Are Coming, The Brasses Are Coming..." http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/TheBrassesAreComing.mp3 Larry Graham Alexander
Jesse Screed
Hello Larry, I always admire your music. I must admit though, I thought I was listening to a pipe organ. It was all very musical, and your skills at midi are to be lauded. I am a rank amateur who couldn't find my way around the PRV if my life depended on it, so take my comments for what they're worth. I utilize the best sampled instruments available and I have been composing and arranging for seventy years. Your sentence about "listening to a pipe organ" is a puzzle to me. If I were you, I would consider obtaining the best playback equipment that you can afford and you will find that things definitely will not sound like a "pipe organ" (unless it it actually a pipe organ), ?
