I was thinking about grabbing MC76 and DSM and wasn't that interested in newer and expensive tiers, but at this price, I might want plugins that usually don't go to $39 or lower. Do you guys have any favorite plungs you actually use? I probably don't need Lindell's API because I already have waves API and acustica Pink

Not 100% sure with this update but possibly this version brought this as solo related shortcuts are introduced here. When I set exclusive solo mode on and solo on an instrument track, and then open piano roll and write some midi noted and then click whatever note and press delete. This somehow unsolos the track. I checked the keymapping but delete key is not assigned to anything assigned to anything it seems. Can anyone reproduce or only me? This originally happened on my project file I was working on but I could reproduce it on a new project file with random instrument.

It'd be great if $25 monthly voucher can be used for monthly payment for the $29 subscription. I'd be buying a tuner every month...

I don't own it but Superior Drummer should be the best in terms of sound quality among other big names. Not sure if it's easy to use but it's more professional I think. I see many people mention SD as the best on other forum(GS). I own Addictive Drums but if I ever wanted to buy something better then I'd be buying Superior Drummer. However, great drum sound can be achieved with fx like compressor and stuff unless original samples are really bad, so I am okay with what I have and I think there is nothing wrong with BFD. And raw sound from SD might not be magically good. And also replacing the drum sound on mixing stage is not so uncommon so as long as you have good samples, the original drum VST doesn't really matter. I heard Additive Drums doesn't not sound great in a mix or after some processes or it's kinda hard to get the right sound in a mix while with Superior Drummer you can get great sound in a mix. I also think so for AD. Other option can be drum libraries for Kontakt. Kontakt isn't necessarily meant for Drums unlike other ones I mentioned, but I'm sure there are great quality libraries and often people, including me, forget how great these are.

I have heard of good things about NoiseAsh plugins. So, even though I already have other pultec EQs, I feel like, ok maybe this one might be better than, say, IK one, so if I get this one, I wouldn't need another pultec... Well, at least that's what I thought when I got PSP pultec...

For the people in the US, it's one of the greatest time. The currency here has gotten cheap as heck and it is the worst time ever in the last decade to buy plugins now... Back then everything was 30% off compared to the price now... Well, I have amethyst and the sound of preamp is super sweet...

I purchased bitwig upgrade license a while ago but haven't activated it yet. XO looks funcy and they don't usually do this do they? but I don't know if I want to upgrade now. I actually liked vision 1 but they changed the UI a bit and I don't know if I am enjoying my v3 that much. I don't really use complicated tools added over years. Maybe I should wait until v5?

This happens to me as well and I feel this has something to do with other plugins. It could be latency related of other plugins or something. And yes, if it's the first plugin it doesn't crash. Anyways, the workaround is, open synth rack view and detach it to a window so that you can turnoff other synth. Deactivate the other synth such as SI E-piano, perhaps you might need to deactivate all, and then insert TTS, and then play some notes to make sure it doesn't crash, then reactivate other instruments. You might need to disable all FX by just pressing global bypass too but maybe you don't have to. It's tedious but it works for me at least.

I have a Crossgrade license for Cubase that I haven't activated yet. I bought the license more than a year ago. I hope I can use the latest version of Cubase when I register it...

I have version 1. When version 2 was released, I thought it would get really cheap later. I didn't buy it when they said upgrade discount, $49 deals or something crazy. Now the time has come, finally. So I bought it. But maybe, the give it for free in the future.... because they often do that.

Thanks for posting this because I am also curious. I have also watched his videos before and I was wondering how Cakewalk by Bandlab is regarding these topics discussed in his DAW comparison videos. His videos were very interesting to watch. Pan, Automation, Jitter, etc... I felt for the most of topics he covered where CbB is also included in the comparison, Cakewalk by Bandlab was doing well.

If you go to the plugin browser and select a plugin then the information is shown on the bottom of the browser window, well if it's docked it's not a window but you can see the information like "VST3 stereo double precision" For example, some Cakewalk plugins and Voxengo plugins like span are double precision, also TDR stuff, DMG, Sonimus, and TBProAudio are usually double precision iirc. I'm away from my computer so maybe I can post a screenshot later.

I tried to use other DAWs but other DAW lacks some features I want. I have tried Studio One, Bitwig Studio, and FL studio. I mainly use Bigwig and CbB these days. I really like Dim solo and exclusive solo features but some other DAWs just don't have them. I always use Dim solo. It's really nice to hear it in context when I need to do some frequency adjustment. Exclusive solo is great when I need to compare sounds or switch to a different track. Studio One is great but the plugin windows is set to pin on default and you can't change the default setting. I always want my VU meter plugin or analyzer to be opened with other plugins so I need click a button to pin each time...They didn't have dim solo. I think they now have it on newer versions though. Bitwig Studio is really great but it doesn't have Dim solo nor exclusive solo. It's great for production. I really like this DAW. FL studio was not for me because I prefer linear workflow rather than making many patterns. in recent version they added linear workflow though. I think CbB is especially great for mixing. I can bypass effects for each track or entirely. I can route tracks however I want. These things are handy, too. I generally like the general interface too. I might want to give other DAWs another try in the future and I do miss some other features on other DAWs but so far CbB works for me for mixing and other general things. CbB can show the plugin information about bit depth. Some plugins are double precision and I can see if a plugin in is double precision or float point. I like this, too.

I also have some performance differences on newer version. I was using the version of initial release of 2021.11 and working on a track. Then I updated it to 2021.11 Update 1 and maybe I felt more frequent glitchy noises or sluggishness due to high CPU usage on Update 1, but then soon I updated to 2021.12. I went back and forth between 2021.09 and 2021.12 to see if there are any differences. On 2021.09 version, it seems fine and on 2021.12, first few playbacks are fine but then I had occasional noises. I am not perfectly sure yet but I felt more comfortable on 2021.09 version. The project file contains TTS and SI Instruments only. There is no audio file.

I sent you a message that includes the project file. What I did before this was splitting clips so that might have something to do with the bug but I am not sure.

Copying a clip with automation messes up the Tempo. This happened today and never happened before so this might only occur under certain situation. It seems like it copies the 2nd envelop automation data and pasting it on tempo track. (I changed the automation value and I could confirm that the value changed according to that) I am not sure if this can be reproduces in other versions but I essentially found this on first release of 2021.11 and I updated to build 018 and it's still there. Should I send the file or is this already fixed on the new early access version? I've never used Cubase but In Bitwig Studio -Select tracks -Control + G And it's done. It creates a new folder that works as an aux track fed from selected tracks' outputs. This is much faster than selecting tracks and assigning them to a new aux track on right click menu.

I bought Cubase years ago. Never registered nor activated it because I didn't have the dongle. Nice. I won't be register it any time soon though.

I checked the price yesterday and I remember the price for Amethyst and Ivory and they are the same at least. I'll be grabbing ivory for €60

Ahgggh I should've bought TDR plugins early so I could get the Melda plugin. I already have DS years ago and never used it.
