(repeating response to Glenn Stanton on Dreamtonics forum for the benefit of the CW community) Thank you for the tip! I did in fact notice a 2005 C++ redistributable a few weeks ago during a Waves Central update. Well, I thought before I track down the respective dependencies of CW Sonar and Synth V, I might as well simply do an uninstall/re-install of Sonar to see if that might have sufficient restorative benefits. And it did! SV Pro 2 2.1.2. works fine now.

I have been using Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro (2.1.1) as a plugin in Sonar (paid version) without issues however the 2.1.2 update won't load into a project even though the plugin manager suggests it is successfully registered. It works fine standalone. Anyone else experience this?

This suggestion worked for the "cakewalk won't launch" (aka "splash screen only") problem that I was experiencing on a new clean-install of Windows 11 and CbB on new HW. Thank you!
