I think that would depend on "what" they are doing. Cakewalk, as all Major DAW's, is a fairly "in depth" DAW, that requires some learning, Acid is a little less "involved", so might be a good place to start...but, again, depends on the "intent", and the capabilities, of those involved...one good thing about them using CbB is that they have you to "lean on" when they get stuck...
