Ohhh....looks like Avid Control WILL work with other DAW's...and it's FREE.... Glad I didn't jump the gun on Touch DAW....will see how well it works first!

Studio One Remote was INSTANT....nothing to configure or do...just load and go... THAT is the way it REALLY should be!

It was tricky...but I got Touch DAW to work with Cakewalk...so that makes me happy... the rest should be a piece of CAKE(walk) from here! There is a separate utility that you have to install called rtpMIDI that makes it work...pretty slick too! (see what I did there? ?)

NO....I had 10...I bought the 10.5 update when it went on sale for like $30...then registered it during the grace period to get the FREE upgrade to 11

One thing that suck about Cubase is that their "remote" app is iOS only.... The Studio One remote app works GREAT! Touch DAW, for $4.99 will control just about ANY DAW, and that's probably what I'm going to get...just for universal compatability

That's what I did...I bought the 10.5 update for like $30...and then waited to register...and got 11 Free... I'll do the same next time....but Steiny is probably going to get "wise" to these strategy because so many are using it...and will eventually "end" that ability to do this
