Custom Shop update has not been uploaded yet. It still shows 1.8, which creates the "infinite loop". Guess I'll scurry off and do it all manually!

That Upgrade is for owners of TOTAL STUDIO MAX 1...not Total Studio 1, 2, OR 3... If they don't show up in your account then you can't buy them... I own Total Studio 3, and we've already had this conversation...there was NO UPGRADE PATH OFFERED, not does ANY show up in my account. And, since I wanted the Total Studio Max "Designation", despite the fact I already own just about EVERYTHING, I bought the Axe I/O to get Amplitube Max to be able to upgrade at the LOWEST POSSIBLE PRICE, and LOW AND BEHOLD, at the VERY SAME TIME, IK changed their POLICY to "ANY PAID MAX TITLE" from "ANY MAX TITLE". I still have ALL my original receipts, and I went through IK support and THEY assured me that THERE WAS NO UPGRADE OFFERED for Total Studio 3 Owners. I've been going on about this FOR YEARS!!! PS. My purpose was to show HOW MUCH we paid when we bought it "back when" and then got the shaft not being offered ANY upgrade path to Total Studio Max in ANY form...

I don't see a reason why there would be a problem. Should work fine. Internal is always preferable...but should still work ok.

Games, just like Audio, require faster drives...i.e...7200 RPM or above. USB 3 has helped throughput, so it's not as critical now, but faster drives perform better for games, video, and audio

Plugin wise...I've already given up everything else....LOL

My younger brother is a HUGE gamer. He has just about EVERY system ever made...STILL! He has both X-Box One and PS4...he spends WAY to much time playing games for a man who is almost 50! LOL

I actually started with Ozone 6 I believe, then upgraded to 7 and then to the MPS1, then 2, and now MPS3...never looked back. I could live without most of those plugins, but not without Ozone...I'd give up EVERYTHING if I had to, except O9A.... That would have been a great score!!! I couldn't believe he was selling it for that price! That was insane! There will be deal come along...just be patient...

Black Friday is always a pretty good bet...you could have just picked up O9 Elements for $8.88 at during the sale at Plugin Boutique, which would have moved you up a rung on the upgrade ladder... also, check KVR for sellers. Izotope has an easy transfer system, so it's pretty painless...and saves a ton of money... O9A is a must have IMO...YMMV
