How does a person qualify for this? Does the discounted price just show up in your cart? Do you have to currently be a student in University or other? fj

Yeah, too pricey for me as well. They did have DOPAMINE on for $39 a few weeks back, but was only a limited time flash sale. You can purchase a bundle of 5 plugins of your choice for $239 ($47.80 per plug), but that's still a lot of coin to drop for 5 plugins. SpringAge at $29 is reasonable though. fj

Never used EastWest libraries. The system requirement on the JRR site says: "SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 60GB free hard disc space, iLok security key (not provided), either supplied on discs or optional hard drive for ease of installation (see conditions below)." Is this info outdated, or does it require an iLok key? I do not see this requirement on the EastWest site (unless i'm missing it). fj

I do recall seeing a YouTube video a while back where some guy was doing a loudness comparison of the CD and Guitar Hero versions of "The Day That Never Comes" (IIRC). I never tried to look for it, but to my recollection, the Guitar Hero version sounded way better on that video. fj

Me too. If only they would give that same treatment to Metallica's "Death Magnetic", I'd be able to actually listen to the whole album in one sitting. There's a lot of great stuff on there that I'd love to listen to. fj
