If you want a free way to do much if what Max can do, then download Pure Data. It was created by the same guy that created Max, but it's free. https://puredata.info/ The programming is very similar so learning Pure Data will prime you for learning Max. There is a version of it called Plug Data that can be used as a plugin. https://plugdata.org/ Max has more features and a much better look than the Pure Data variants. However if you want to dip your toes in the water, Pure Data is a no cost way to do it.

I use it. It is VERY deep. You'll need to spend time going through tutorials or working through one of the several books out there to really take advantage of it. It's essentially a visual programming language so you can get it to do about anything you can imagine with audio or midi. Be prepared to use it standalone mode only unless you have Ableton Suite (or Ableton with the Max add on). There is an additional paid RNBO add-on which allows you to export in various formats, but it is limited to a subset of the available modules. The Cycling 74 store has sales once or twice a year for around 25-30% off. I love the software, but it's definitely something you'll wnat to dedicate some time to take full advantage of it. If you've done any type of programming in the past, then that would make the transition easier.

Get a 15% discount on Native Instruments plugins, sound packs and bundles

I had to bite on this one. Been eyeing Vintage Vault prior to this, and this deal was too good to pass. Downloading now. EDIT: The coupon is essentially taking 15% off the "list" price, as opposed to 15% off the sale price. -
I wonder if UVI is aware that Rob Papen already has a compilation vst called Prisma? https://www.robpapen.com/prisma.html

I get errors when trying to login, so they must be having some issues. EDIT: login now works for me, but I have the same issue with the price not showing. I think this happened last time, and it took a day or so for it to show the correct price.

(Not a Deal) UVI Workstation Update - Now includes UVI Starter
SmokeyJ628 replied to ZincT's topic in Deals
Yeah, this has been out for a bit so I still think something else is coming from UVI. -
I know many have been following BFD to see how they're going to update it. There's also a sale on the new version and the expansions. Website: https://www.bfddrums.com/bfd3/

Native Access updated itself to the new version and now it won't start for me. Gets stuck on the "Loading Products" page forever. This is has been a common reported problem with Native Access going back for years. I absolutely abhor Native Instruments these days. They're really the most reliably incompetant major developer.

Just a reminder in case you missed it: Fabfilter Pro-Q4 is out Thursday

"Been spending most our lives looking at Fabfilter EQ lines..." I couldn't resist. -
For US customers at least, Best Service has a better deal on these (roughly $30 per expansion). https://www.bestservice.com/en/vengeance_sound.html?pg=1&lc=25
