  1. OMG! Am I the only one this far behind the curve here? WTF do I find this 360 software?? I've been looking here. https://www.solidstatelogic.com/products/plug-ins?tab=documents I think my excitement at this amazing update from SSL is only matched by my frustration with trying to find s*** on their website...
  2. ...So nothing beyond the SSL Native Bus Compressor 2 and Channel Strip 2 for non-hardware owners then?
  3. Zo, I'm sorry. I am so lost with what is being updated! I grabbed the SSL Native Bus Compressor 2 and Channel Strip 2 plugins last night which are awesome (thanks for the video!). Is there something else also? What is the "360 install"? What are the "Mixer plugins"? FYI, I'm looking here: https://www.solidstatelogic.com/products/plug-ins?tab=documents
  4. Nope. ( IMHO) I mean, you should demo it a try for yourself to see if it's worth it, but...
  5. Lots of hoops to jump through to get this one. I can't remember if I got it working on my latest DAW PC... It's a good one though!
  6. Still too much $$. This is one of those plugins that would have been tempting years ago except the strangely excessive price. And it never goes on sale. And now there are a few more options available to do this around the same price point - very elegant options too! (Soothe and MSpectralDynamics) I demoed it awhile ago, but never thought twice about it because of the price. Why is this so expensive, especially compared with the rest of their plugins?? Dunno, it seems like they may have missed their opportunity to make a big splash on this one by years...
  7. WOW!! Super sweet! I would have never known about this without you guys. And thanks SSL!
  8. Do current owners get updates? For free?
  9. What I don't get, is if you've got the Essentials Pack (Channel Strip and Bus Compressor), has there been an update since Feb 2021? Don't they have an email list and send out notices? Do current owners get updates? PS. I hate their website...
  10. Here you go... Don't ask how I got there because I haven't got a clue! ? https://www.solidstatelogic.com/products/plug-ins?tab=documents
  11. Huh?? They expect us to actually make music with these plugins?? ? (Actually, the timing is really good. I'm literally just finishing up the first song I've written in years... Not that anyone cares. ? )
  12. It's even got a real VU Meter! ?
  13. I'm pretty excited about this one. It's also got some AmpliTube stuff in there, so hopefully after some twiddling I can come up with a few FX chains for Bass/Guitar. I also just saw this on the website: Pretty cool!
  14. Actually it does. My "complete your bundle" price went from $71.99 to $53.99... It works on the individual synths from the bundle too! Like $14 bucks for the Pad one. Tempting!
  15. The new UIs look great! Clean and streamlined. They have some good demos in there too... And pretty decent prices. ?
  16. This deal came up on another IK thread. They got me with it. Been there, done that. ? ...but it definitely deserves to have it's own thread! 70 IK processors for $50 bucks?? GREAT DEAL!
  17. Don't know why I'm finding this thread so funny, but I am! ?
  18. Kontakt is still $400 bucks! No wonder I'm still a non-user schlub...
  19. Personally, I MUCH prefer the smell of freshly ground coffee to the "roasting smell". I think I prefer the smell of freshly ground coffee even to the taste of it! ?
  20. NM, I see it under "Included Products". The non-player version of KONTAKT 6 starts with Komplete 13...
  21. What does it take to satisfy "Full Kontakt Required"? Any paid version? https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-13-select/compare/
  22. Tri-tto that! It's usually in the evenings when I'm working on music, so more beer than coffee for me... ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, back to the thread topic. Sorry! ? Although, we have found a coffee we like enough to order regularly... https://www.peets.com/products/major-dickasons-blend
  23. Dammit! I just saw it's NOT a Windows program. Mac users can already do this anyways! ?
  24. Sweet!! Anyone use this? I've been using Audacity to record references to import into my mixes.
  25. If you go to "Windows Features", Windows allows you to enable prior versions of .NET for backwards compatibility. So that shouldn't be a problem...
