Does this come with the subscription or is it a separate fee?
Does membership include everything?
is there a separate fee for anything?
Thanks for the help.
I'm not a fan of subscriptions but I think Cakewalk did a pretty cool thing here.
Say I subscribe for a year and then let it run out. I'm not dead in the water. It would just revert back to the free tier and my projects are still available to work on.
For me, that makes Cakewalk a viable option. I just have to decide if I'm going to stick with PC or move to the dark side and buy a Mac mini.
I'm just trying to educate myself a little here so be patient with me.
How does the Mac mini get such glowing reviews for pro audio with the base model (16gb ram with maybe a 256gb hard drive)
when a loaded Geekom mini pc seems to have heat issues? (IT15 AI Ultra core 9 285H 32gb ram 2 tb hard drive).
I'm surprised that apple can work without thermal issues and provide performance, while PC's still have issues.
Is the Mac mini not all it's cracked up to be? Are Pc's better than I'm making them out to be?
I could be wrong but this is what I plan to try.
Delete Cakewalk by Bandlab. Use the old legacy command center to install Platinum and everything in my old account.
Then re-scan Cakewalk Sonar plugins. Will that work?
I need to upgrade my PC soon. I see many videos on mini pc’s but can they handle audio production without heat problems and the cpu scaling back?
I was kind of thinking about trying a Mac mini but with recent changes to Cakewalk I now see staying and subscribing to Sonar something to consider.
I’m messing around with all the plugins that are new to me.
In videos I see in the “Fame” reverb the guy select a preset and clicks on insert as an option.
I don’t see this option. Should these only be used as a send?
IK make a lot of very nice stuff IMHO. I think upgrading to Arc 4 studio will be my next purchase from them.
I’m still using Arc 2. Which works just fine in the daw.
It won’t work with Tracks 6.
