Gut feeling is that it will be inspired by it but not the same. Same as OT collaborating with NI but not re-releasing an OT library. They did new things together Arkhis, etc. I’m really liking it but I think would need to be polished a bit more before releasing it as an official NI komplete instrument. Sounds really good though.

I agree and made sense to lock / delete the thread / remind regulars. My issue is with permanent pinned message describing it as pirated sw trade. Makes it seem like it was a regular severe issue that “management” had to step in and deal with.

They should discontinue AAX also hehe. Recently while searching for extra space on my ssd I discovered about 40GB of plug-in data that had been automatically installed in an AAX folder. I always uncheck AAX when installing so these were a total surprise to find. If I move to VST3 exclusively then maybe I can get 80GB back? That would be amazing. Score.

Because I knew soundpaint didn’t have any sales, I completely ignored it during the black friday/end of year sales period because I wanted to maximize my spending on the bigger sales. I agree with Scott we are likely to see some incentives eventually. The libraries are not too expensive which is good. Somewhere I read that they had 1000 libraries planned or something crazy like that. 1000 * $50 = $50,000 i really hope they are planning sales hahah 1000 * 40GB average = 40 terabytes and good ssd sales hahah
