  1. Hi Petri, all the changes I'd made to the plugins in the project were remembered. I'm guessing that all that information is stored with the project.
  2. I'm sure you're right, but I don't have the time or inclination at the moment to track it down. I have an easy workaround which allows me to get on with the project I'm working on, so that's good enough for the time being.
  3. OK, I've worked it out. This pic shows what I mean. The red rectangle shows the data displayed when I click and hold on a note. The mouse cursor doesn't appear in the screen capture for some reason. It seems that it's down to whether or not Cakewalk is running as administrator. I use Sound Forge as an audio editing tool from within Cakewalk. It appears under the Utilities menu in the main window. Unfortunately SoundForge will only launch if Cakewalk is running as administrator, so I've set my desktop shortcut for Cakewalk to run as administrator. When I run Cakewalk from the desktop shortcut I don't get the data display. If I run Cakewalk by double clicking on a .cwp file, Cakewalk doesn't run as administrator and I do get the data display. Another thing Cakewalk won't do when running as administrator is allow you to drag and drop files from a windows folder onto Track View. So, problem solved.
  4. Hi there CbB experts, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Up until a couple of days ago, with the Smart tool selected, if I clicked and held on a note in Piano Roll View a small dialogue would appear showing (if I remember correctly) the Note name, its position in the bar and its velocity. The same was true if I clicked and held on a velocity bar in the Velocity pane. This has suddenly stopped happening. I am running CbB version 2024.12 64-bit on Windows 10. If anyone can tell me how to get this back I'd be grateful. Thanks Richard
  5. Good news! A reset and rescan has fixed the problem. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to respond and especially Wookiee who nailed the fix.
  6. Thanks for your comments. Everything is up to date. I've just downloaded and reinstalled all the Eventide plug-ins but the problem persists. Looking at when I last worked on this project, there have been a couple of Windows updates since then so I may have to roll them back just to eliminate that possibility.
  7. Greetings one and all. I'm using CBB version 2024.07 (Build 108, 64 bit) which I installed back in July. This afternoon I loaded up a project which has been in progress, on and off, for some time and I was informed that the VST 3 reverb plug-in 'Eventide SP2016' failed to load: (80004002). It also fails to load in any other existing project or a new project. In all I have 5 Eventide fx plug-ins and 4 of them display this problem. One of them (Ultra Channel) works fine. They all work fine in Sonar X3. Clearly there's something that Cakewalk has taken a sudden dislike to that doesn't bother Sonar X3. Before I resort to uninstalling and re-installing plug-ins and/or Cakewalk, I was wondering if anyone might have some helpful insight they could share. Thanks Richard
  8. Hi to everyone and I hope someone can help. I've just updated to 26.01.0.28 As a long time user of Cakewalk/Sonar/Cakewalk By Bandlab, as far back as I can remember, when I set up a loop I could always get back to the start of that loop by clicking on the |< button in the transport to the left of the 'Now Slider'. It might require 2 clicks if the current now position was between the start of the track and the start of the loop but I could always get back to the start of the loop quickly and easily. Since updating to 26.01.0.28 this doesn't work anymore. Now all that happens is it rewinds to the start of the track and stays there. Is this a bug or a new 'Feature'? Has anyone else noticed this or know of a fix. Thanks for your time.
