Treesha, thank you for listening and responding. Vocals should be louder in this mix.

Tom, Thank you for listening and your support. I've uploaded another version, raising the levels on the vocal. Let me know your thoughts.

Nigel....thanks a bunch for continuing to listen. Your support is greatly appreciated. The descending guitar and bass is my absolute favorite trait of this song.

Thanks for listening Ed (The Bapu), I have raised the levels on the lead vocal. Hopefully.....better this time around. I am not a vocals floating on top mixer, but sometimes I unintentionally bury them a bit.

I’ve been looking for ways to us AI to assist me in original song creation. How to use it as a tool. I’ve always struggled with lyrics. So lately, I’ve been writing lyrics and then running them through Chat and asking it to improve my lyrics or make suggestion. Most of what I get doesn’t fit where I want to go, but it sometimes spits out a line or an idea that I take and build upon. I’m using it like a cowriter to bounce idea off and get a reaction. This has greatly spread up lyrics for me. -
Thank you Nigel. Really happy you liked this one.

Had the great privilege of Craig Anderton reviewing this and another song on another forum site, (which shall not be mentioned.) Great feedback, all good, but my favorite part was him noticing the toggle switch trick at the end, performed on my LP.

Here is another song that I just finished writing and recording. Let me know your thoughts. Hope you enjoy. EDIT: Thank you all for your feedback in tis song. I have uploaded a new version to YouTube for review. The Lead vocal has been raised slightly louder in this mix. Let me know your thoughts.

You've Got to Give the New Styx Album a Listen!

I’ve heard nothing about this album, so thank you for sharing. I’ve become a Tommy Shaw fan over the years, so I’m going to give this a listen. -
Hey Nigel, thanks for listening once again. I’m thrilled that you like the song. The drums are Superior Drummer 3, one of the Pop Yamaha kits if I remember correctly. This is produced in Studio One and running through their Fat Channel plugins. I can certainly take a few days off and give this a listen with fresh ears. Craig Anderton reviewed it on another forum and caught that I somehow panned the solo to one side. I believe I recycled a track and forgot to reset everything to zero before starting. Duh! Good to have other ears on these forums to catch silly mistakes.

Treesha, thank you for listening and commenting. Yes, the bridge is very intentional to bring everything down for a bit before launching into the final chorus and ending. A former band mate of mine is asking if he can add a B3 organ track to the song, so there is a possibility that the bridge may get another layer of pad added to the mix. Glad you liked the song. I felt like this one came together well.

Thank you for listening and commenting Nigel. I’m feeling in a good place with my bass play these days. It’s my main live band instrument in which I’ve found a comfortable, yet creative spot.

Thank you for listening and commenting, Rik.
