  1. the meter changes were on the boundaries. Also there is no copy/paste involved. This is simply using “ripple all” and dragging a clip to create room. It works for all the other elements (markers, other clips to the right, tempo) — just not meters. At least not for me, and not in this example. As I said I tried it a couple of times. Next time I will try “insert measures” as I’ve done before, but Ripple All has been so effective and intuitive that I’ve enjoyed using it instead. I guess I never had the multiple meter changes in the mix. thanks anyway!
  2. I tried it a few times with the same results. I have a bunch of measures in 4/4 and then a few quick alternating between 6/4 and 4/4, as well as 5/4 and 6/4. Then back to 4/4. Somewhere in the middle of that I decide to add several measures. I engage the ripple all button and pick a clip to slide to the right. That causes all clips from that point to move along with it, plus markers and tempo changes. All of that is correctly working. However the meter changes are not moving as expected. So all my changes from 4/4 to 5/4 etc remain in place.
  3. I have a project with a number of meter changes. And tempo changes too. I engaged “ripple all” and move some clips over several measures. The tempos and markers all moved as expected. But not the meter changes. The meter changes remained as they were which seems like a bug to me.
  4. Cubase performs this function and, indeed, any tempo related function exceptionally well. I prefer to use Cakewalk but I mention this in the hopes that they can acquire some of these capabilities. Note that I’ve been able to achieve it all within cakewalk, but in this regards the workflow and speed is nowhere near as fast (for me at least)
  5. The way tempo is handled in Cubase (as seen in that video) is pretty remarkable. I’ve akways wanted tempo and meter tracks, and I think it’s really cool that you can toggle the tempo mapping on and off too. Lots to like there and I’d love to see some of this added into Cakewalk
  6. +1 it’s a small thing but I encounter it enough times in my workflow that I would find this very useful
  7. I’d like to see a new kind of track, one that can have its own markers. That way I can have one track of markers for the song structure and another, say, for hit points or where the bassist needs to do overdubs, etc. i think I asked for this over a dozen years ago and since then Cubase has added this capability. It’s really useful and would allow the main timeline marker view to remain uncluttered.
