  2. Arturia and Native Instruments do the same thing with their compilations—the versions included are the ones available at the time of release of the compilation. Different companies have different policies. As a consumer, be aware of how each company handles compilations. Don’t assume.
  3. In IK Product Manager, I see T-RackS 6 is available to "Try" and "Buy" but I don't see T-RackS 6 Intro. I tried refreshing, then deleted and reinstalled IK Product Manager. Any suggestions to be able to install T-RackS 6 Intro?
  4. Historically, IK had upgraded T-RackS/AmpliTube/MODO DRUMS/MODO BASS/etc. and all the licensed modules/content/instruments would be functional in the new version. They'd of course keep churning out new content to entice an upgrade. I appreciate this about IK.
  5. Thanks. Upgraded from Standard to Professional for $20 and change.
  6. Thanks for the link. I would assume it's authoritative (updated two days ago). Looks like only VB Dandy is AS native and VST3. The rest are not.
  7. SoloTech (previously PSSL) is selling a refurb for $34.99: https://shop.solotech.com/products/mackie-onyx-artist-1-2-2x2-usb-audio-interface I picked it up when it was on sale for $29.99. Looks like it's hit that price several times since. Anyhow, it's a nice feeling, sturdy unit. It got me Tracktion Waveform OEM 12 when I registered it last year. One caveat is relatively high latency (vs. MOTU M4 under 6 ms @ 44.1K/64). Here are my results for RTL Utility at buffer sizes of 64, 128, and 256. Win: 44.1K: 8.027 ms, 12.585 ms, 21.474 ms 48K: 7.583 ms, 11.917 ms, 20.708 ms 88.4K: 5.442 ms, 6.179 ms, 10.612 ms 96K: 5.396 ms, 6.052 ms, 10.365 ms Mac: 44.1K: 9.932 ms, 12.834 ms, 18.639 ms 48K: 9.562 ms, 12.229 ms, 17.562 ms 88.4K: 8.220 ms, 9.671 ms, 12.574 ms 96K: 7.052 ms, 8.385 ms, 11.052 ms For running amp sims live where you want to minimize latency, you'd probably want to run it at sample rates of 88.4K or 96K on Windows.
  8. Yes, I've purchased many electronics items from them over the years. They've been around a while.
  9. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/catalog/summer-of-sound-2024/expansions/?sorting=price_asc I see a number of expansions for $14.50. For me, I also see Supercharger GT upgrade for $14.50.
  10. If I run Native Access (I have Komplete 13), the following are shown under the Applications tab (available as standalone applications as well as VST plugins): Battery, FM8, Guitar Rig, Kontakt, Massive, Massive X, and Reaktor. Blocks Primes, Prism, Rounds, Spark, Super 8, Kontour, and TRK-01 shows up under the Reaktor tab. Note that Super 8 is both a standalone app as well as more recently a Reaktor instrument. Whatever you buy, you'll be able to use that instrument in the appropriate player.

    Silky, silky GAS

From the article: "When they tested the silk fabric in direct suppression mode, the researchers found that it could significantly reduce the volume of sounds up to 65 decibels (about as loud as enthusiastic human conversation). In vibration-mediated suppression mode, the fabric could reduce sound transmission up to 75 percent." That's 12 dB, which is significant, but certainly won't help an acoustic drum set (~110 dB). I wonder how effective multiple layers could be. Cool tech, though.
  12. According to a comment in this video … | Latency on these is roughly 3ms at 96k, 32 samples. So, not as good as the legacy Quantum models (as expected). Still waiting for the actual numbers.
  13. I actually do have Baby Audio Magic Switch. It didn't come up in my search of Juno choruses. So, that makes four.
  14. Finally got it. 3rd Juno chorus after TAL and Arturia.
