I was finally able to get MODO Bass 2 working with Cakewalk. It stopped working on two separate computers after the latest update, though it would work as a standalone and as a plugin in FL Studio. I uninstalled v2.0.3 and reinstalled v. 2.0.2 and its working agai..

Using external audio editor in Cakewalk. You used to be able to add one in utilities menu. You could export it out to the program, use it's cleaning tools, etc. And when done it brings it back into Cakewalk in the exact place it was.t

The old Cakewalk used to have an option to pass an audio track, via the Utilities menu, to an external audio editor and bring it back. This was great for removing clicks from a track, for example. Does anyone know why this was discontinued and how to get it back?

Hiding multiple tracks in console view
Ricky Wayne Hunt replied to Ricky Wayne Hunt's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Scott Garrigus! I haven't seen you in years. The last time was in the old Cakewalk newsgroup. The Ctrl+H doesn't work (it doesn't do anything, actually). The only workaround I've found so far is to use the Track Manager but I'd like to be able to hide them right in console view. -
Bundles opening root drive
Ricky Wayne Hunt replied to Ricky Wayne Hunt's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
The folder location is valid but it still insists on unpacking the bundle at the root drive. -
Is there a way to hide multiple tracks in the console view? Like selecting multiple tracks and then Hide Tracks. It only hides one at a time. Track Manager doesn't do what I wnt to do.
-
If I open a bundle, it starts in the root drive instead of where the projects are located. Does anyone know a fix?

Sometimes I want to select 2 or more tracks and hide them (particularly in the Console view.) I select the tracks and click on "hide tracks" with every key combination but it will only hide the track I've clicked on. I know about track manager but it does not solve this need. Thanks

I have to use Cakeealk on two different computers. I am thinking of putting all plugins on a thumb/hard drive and carrying it and the iLok and Waves thumb drive each time I switch. Also, there's the plugin menu layouts, key bindings, etc. These could be put on disk too. Or maybe using a network drive to put everything on??? Please advise with any thoughts on this working or something else I could do. Thanks.

I need help. Some plugins are not showing up in Plugin Manager but I don't know how to decipher the log. Any suggestions?

Plugin Manage Shredded Registry
Ricky Wayne Hunt replied to Ricky Wayne Hunt's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Oops, I meant a VST scan. The scan log showed a bunch of registry keys it deleted that had nothing to do with plugins. -
I did my first scan after installing Cakewalk on a fresh installation of Windows. In the log report it had deleted all kinds of registry keys now those programs are hosed. Is there anything I can do???
