    The Man. The Legend.
  2. I think it’s pretty pretty interesting for people starting with UVI or for UVI aficionados who want instant sounds with MPE. Meanwhile, cherishing my Sonic Bundle
  3. Wouldn’t go for Goliath. Even though it’s a general use library, it’s quite old. Better jump on one of the recent libs, like Hollywood Strings 2, or Fantasy Voices, or Iconic, or Ancient Kingdom, or Forbidden Planet. Depending on whether you prefer strings, vocals, flutes or synths.
  4. As long as there’s processing
  5. Of course you won’t use it. But that’s okay, I won’t either
  6. Anyway, that price Larsy found at JRR is just nuts. I would at least get the four pianos, then Cinedream guitar, Deep and Legend drummers, Dandy and Mellow bass, the UFX and the following Finishers: Dynamo, Fluxx, Neo, Retro, and maybe Voodoo if you’re a guitarist.
  7. Interesting. I simply downloaded their Ujam app and all came in as smoothly as could be.
  8. Well, I agree on those virtual guitars, they just don’t sound natural for a guitar player. Same goes for AAS Strum and SugarBytes Guitarist for instance. On the other hand, ImpactSoundworks and especially OrangeTreeSamples achieve great results. But I don’t agree on your other thoughts regarding Ujam. Their approach is quite original, focusing on immediate use and musical satisfaction instead of a multitude of options and technical stuff that take you away from the essence of making music. These guys turn technical prowess back into musical instruments, and they do it quite well. It’s a great philosophy and I applaud them for it, because they provide what I’m always looking for: musical inspiration. Sonically, I do like their approach very much, especially their Mellow bass and Legend drummer. And the way their Dandy bass fuses with their Deep drummer, sharing the same phrases. Good FX too, and their Finisher multi-FX approach is another dedicated example of their philosophy: no fuss, just great sounds, hugely Inspiring. So you see, I’d love to see much more from Ujam. Didn’t really get their approach when they started, but now I’m a full convert. Heck, I’m a Ujam aficionado.
